O Stezka v oblacích (Sky Walk) - Dolni Morava, Czech Republic

With it’s mountain-top location, the Dolni Morava Sky Walk is often nestled in the clouds. Adventure seekers can wind their way upwards along the wood and steel walkway of this rollercoaster-ish looking structure. Along the way, enjoy an endless 360 degree view surrounding the Králický Sněžník mountain where the Sky Walk is built into. Once you reach the top, you can opt for a ‘express’ journey down via the helter-skelter slide. This is certainly not for the faint-hearted!

AlpspiX Viewing Platform - Grainau, Germany

Stegastein - Aurland, Norway

If you are taking a holiday to Flåm, like the rest of the hundred thousand travellers who visits the scenic destination yearly, you can consider visiting the famous Stegastein Viewpoint of Aurland. The sky-high platform of steel and laminated pine wood is quite a popular tourist spot from Flam, jutting 30-metres from the side of the mountain, placing you over top of the Aurlandsfjord. Unkai Terrace & Sky Walk (Sea of Clouds) - Hokkaido, Japan

The gondola from the base of Tomamu’ Hoshino Resort lifts you up above the clouds, to Hokkaido’s famous Unkai Terrace. Situated 1,088-metre high above sea level, you are able to experience an endless white sea of “Unkai” or also known as “sea of clouds” in english. At the Unkai Terrace, you can experience the Unkai from different view points. Try the “Cloud Walk”, a cloud shaped observation walkway protruding from a slope.

Trauttmansdorff Viewing Platform, Trauttmansdorff Castle - Meran, Bolzano, Italy

South Tyrollean architect and designer Matteo Thun designed the ‘binoculars’ shaped, almost transparent viewing platform located within the grounds, or should i say, the sky above the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, offering an endless panoramic view of Merano. The steel grid platform pokes out through the lush mountainside, giving a feeling of being suspended in mid-air. The medieval castle grounds is home to 80 natural and cultivated themed gardens, as well as a number of exotic and rare plants.
